It is a puzzle game where you have to think things through. The levels start out simple enough but they get trickier as you go. You have to figure out the right way to solve each one, and sometimes it takes a few tries before you see it.
A few tips I picked up: take your time on the hard levels, do not rush the first few rounds, and pay attention to what the game is actually asking you to do. That usually helps more than anything else.
