Arctic Pong is one of those games I did not expect to like. It has that one-more-try feeling. You will tell yourself just one more run. There is enough variety to keep you playing past the first five minutes. Do not be afraid to restart. Half the fun is figuring out the optimal path. It holds up surprisingly well on mobile too.
How to Play
Step 1 — Control Your Paddle Use your mouse or finger to move your paddle left and right across the bottom of the screen. Your goal is to intercept the ball and send it back toward your opponent's side. Step 2 — Bounce the Ball Time your movements carefully. The ball bounces off your paddle at different angles depending on where it hits. Aim to send the ball toward areas your opponent can't reach. Step 3 — Score Points Each time the ball passes your opponent's paddle and hits the back wall, you score a point. The first player to reach the target score wins the round. Step 4 — Keep the Ball in Play If the ball gets past your paddle and hits your back wall, your opponent scores. Stay focused and react quickly to prevent this from happening. Step 5 — Survive the Increasing Speed As the rally continues, the ball speeds up progressively. The faster it moves, the harder it becomes to track and return. Stay sharp and adapt to the growing challenge. Step 6 — Beat Your High Score Arctic Pong is all about reflexes and endurance. Challenge yourself to survive longer, score more points, and beat your personal best with every session. Controls Desktop: Move your mouse left and right to control the paddle Mobile/Tablet: Drag your finger across the screen to move the paddle Tips to Become an Arctic Pong Champion Anticipate the bounce — watch the ball's trajectory and position your paddle early Use angles to your advantage — hitting the ball with the edge of your paddle sends it at sharper angles, making it harder for your opponent to return Stay relaxed — tension slows your reactions. Keep a steady hand and trust your instincts Practice regularly — the more you play, the better you'll read the ball's speed and direction Focus on defense first — keeping the ball in play is more important than scoring. A strong defense creates scoring opportunities
