Dalgona Game is a free online skill and patience game inspired by the iconic honeycomb candy challenge made famous by the Korean survival drama Squid Game and Korea's beloved street food culture. Your mission is deceptively simple — carved into each round of golden dalgona candy is a cute shape, and your job is to carefully trace and remove that shape from the surrounding candy without cracking or breaking it.
Dalgona, also known as ppopgi, is a traditional Korean honeycomb toffee made from sugar and baking soda. The candy is pressed flat and stamped with a shape while still warm — creating a thin, brittle disc with a delicate outline that shatters at the slightest wrong move. In real life, children would win free candy if they could remove the shape cleanly with a needle. Now you can take on that same nerve-wracking challenge for free, right in your browser.
Each level presents a new shape — from simple circles to more complex and detailed designs — each requiring steadier hands and sharper focus than the last. Move too fast and the candy cracks. Press too hard and it breaks. The only path to victory is slow, deliberate, and precise. Simple to understand, genuinely tense to play, and endlessly satisfying when you finally get it right. How to Play
Step 1 — Understand the Goal
Each round presents a flat disc of golden dalgona candy with a shape stamped into it — a circle, star, triangle, umbrella, heart, or other cute design. Your goal is to carefully carve along the outline of that shape and remove the surrounding candy cleanly, leaving the shape intact and unbroken. If the candy cracks or the shape breaks, the round is failed.
Step 2 — Study the Shape First
Before you start carving, take a moment to look at the full outline of the shape. Identify where the curves are tightest, where the edges are most fragile, and plan the path you'll trace around it. Rushing in without a plan is the fastest way to break the candy.
Step 3 — Carve Along the Outline
Click and hold the left mouse button (or tap and drag on mobile) and carefully trace along the edge of the stamped shape. Follow the outline as closely as possible — the needle or tool follows your cursor movement, chipping away the candy surrounding the shape bit by bit.
Step 4 — Control Your Pressure and Speed
The candy is brittle. Moving too quickly or veering too far from the outline applies too much pressure and causes the candy to crack. Keep your movements slow and steady, hugging the shape's border at all times. Patience is the only strategy that works.
Step 5 — Watch the Crack Meter
As you carve, a meter tracks how close the candy is to breaking. If you apply too much pressure or wander off the outline repeatedly, the meter rises toward danger. Let it creep too high and the candy shatters — round over. Keep your technique clean to keep the meter low.
Step 6 — Complete the Shape to Win
Once you've traced the entire outline of the shape without breaking the candy, the shape is successfully removed and the level is cleared. Each new level introduces a more complex or delicate shape, demanding even greater precision and focus.

Tips to Clear Every Shape
Always start carving at a straight or gentle section of the outline — never begin at a sharp corner or tight curve where the candy is most fragile
Move at a consistent, unhurried pace — speeding up on easy sections and slowing down on corners is the key rhythm to develop
Stay as close to the stamped outline as possible at all times — the further you drift from the edge, the more candy you stress unnecessarily
If you're struggling with complex shapes, mentally break the outline into small segments and tackle one at a time rather than trying to trace the whole shape in one continuous motion
