Light Line is a free online puzzle game built around one beautifully simple idea — draw a single continuous line of light that fills every blank space on the grid without missing a single cell. No color matching, no timers, no distractions. Just you, a glowing starting point, and a board that needs to be perfectly illuminated.Developed by Movisoft, Light Line is the kind of puzzle game that feels effortless to start and impossible to put down. Each stage presents a clean, minimalist grid and challenges you to trace a path from the starting point through every empty space — moving up, down, left, and right — until the entire board glows with light. The catch: your line must cover every cell exactly once with no gaps and no dead ends. One wrong turn and you'll need to rethink your entire path. With four difficulty levels — Beginner, Intermediate, Expert, and Master — and hundreds of stages to work through, Light Line scales perfectly whether you're looking for a relaxing brain workout or a genuine mental challenge. Every 20 stages you earn bonus items including hints and hearts to help you through the toughest puzzles. Satisfying, meditative, and endlessly replayable. Play Light Line free in your browser on desktop or mobile, right here on VPlay — no download needed.
How to Play
Step 1 — Understand the Goal Each level shows a grid of blank cells with a single glowing starting point. Your objective is to draw one continuous line of light from that starting point that passes through every blank cell on the board — leaving absolutely no space unfilled. Fill every cell and the stage is cleared. Step 2 — Choose Your Difficulty Before playing, select a difficulty level that matches your skill: Beginner — small grids, straightforward paths, perfect for new players Intermediate — larger grids with more routing decisions required Expert — complex layouts that demand careful forward planning Master — the ultimate challenge, designed to test even seasoned puzzle players Each difficulty is split into groups of 100 stages. Complete all 100 stages in a group to unlock the next. Step 3 — Draw Your Light Line Click or tap the glowing starting point and drag your line across the grid — moving up, down, left, or right one cell at a time. The line follows your path and lights up each cell it passes through. Your line cannot cross over itself or leave any cell empty — every single blank square must be filled to complete the stage. Step 4 — Use Hearts to Jump Over Lines Stuck because your path is blocked by a line you've already drawn? Use a heart item to force your line to jump over an existing segment. Hearts give you the flexibility to escape dead ends and reach cells that would otherwise be cut off. Step 5 — Use Hints When You're Stuck If you can't find the right path, tap the hint button. It reveals the next five correct moves in sequence, giving you just enough guidance to get unstuck without solving the puzzle for you. Hints are limited, so save them for when you've truly exhausted your options. Step 6 — Reset and Try Again Made a wrong turn and can't recover? Hit the reset button to restart the stage from scratch with your starting point intact. There's no penalty for resetting — the best players often restart several times before finding the perfect route. Step 7 — Collect Bonus Items Every 20 stages cleared, the game rewards you with bonus items — extra hints and hearts — to help you push through the more demanding levels ahead. Controls Desktop: Click the starting point and drag with the left mouse button Mobile: Tap the starting point and drag with your finger Tips to Clear Every Stage Before moving, scan the full grid — identify any cells that can only be reached from one direction and plan your route around them first Dead-end cells with only one open neighbor must be your last stop or your first move — factor these in before you start drawing Work from the corners inward — corner and edge cells have fewer entry and exit options, so locking them in early prevents getting trapped later When in doubt, trace backwards from the hardest-to-reach cell to figure out the route that gets you there
