Step 1 — Understand the Board You start with a 4x4 grid containing a few numbered tiles (usually 2s and 4s). The board fills up quickly, so you must think ahead. Avoid pushing tiles into corners where they become hard to merge. A single bad move can trap you with no space left. Step 5 — Reach the Giant Tile Your ultimate goal is to merge tiles until you create the 2048 tile. But the challenge doesn't stop there — can you go even further and create 4096, 8192, or beyond? Step 6 — Beat Your High Score Every merge adds to your score. Challenge yourself to beat your personal best with each new game. The game is endlessly replayable, offering a fresh puzzle every time you play. Step 7 — Keep the Board from Filling The game ends when the board fills up completely and no more moves are possible. Stay alert and keep merging to leave room for new tiles.
